Six ways Saath Foundation stands with a child

Start with a child through Hold a Hand, or back the program behind the need.

    Hold a Hand

Sponsor a child's schooling, meals and care, fully or in part.

Choose a child and a need, from a full year to a single school bag. Give once or monthly. Follow your money in your Rupee Trail.

    Class 10/12 Support

    Help through the board years.

We pay board-year costs such as exam fees, practicals, guides and Class 11 admission, keep every exam date, and help with scholarships.

    Scholarship Clinic

Help applying for scholarships children are eligible for.

Trained staff help families find schemes and fill in the forms, with the family present. Scholarship money goes to the family's own bank account, never to Saath Foundation.

    See to Learn

Eye checks and glasses, so children can read the board.

Screening with a qualified partner, then glasses from an optician Saath Foundation pays. We check again at 3 and 6 months that the glasses are being worn.

    Document & Scheme Desk

Help with certificates and government schemes.

Birth and income certificates, scholarships, health cover: we help families apply for what they're entitled to. We never charge a fee, and benefits go to the family's own account.

    Women Support

Helping mothers and families get their documents and schemes.

We're starting with help on documents and schemes, which mothers most often handle. More will follow.

Questions

Can I choose which program my money goes to?

Yes. Pick a program on the donate page, or choose a child's need through Hold a Hand. If you'd rather not choose, the general fund goes where it's needed most.

Does Saath Foundation take any of the scholarship money?

No. Scholarships and government benefits are paid to the family's own bank account. We never charge a fee.

Not sure where to start?

Give to the general fund and we'll put it where it's needed most. You'll still see where it went.
