What Saathis have done

We publish numbers only after they've been checked against our accounts.

How we count: a child is "supported" once at least one of their listed needs has been paid for. Figures are provisional until our annual audit.

Where your ₹ went

Monthly spending by category, and how the Rupee Trail works.

What we promise

  • You pay Saath Foundation only. Saath Foundation pays the vendors, and you can see which ones.
  • If a need gets more than it needs: The extra goes to the next child on Hold a Hand, the one who has been waiting longest for support. You'll see the transfer in your Rupee Trail.
  • A bank transfer from abroad counts towards a child's needs only after the money reaches our FCRA account.
  • Money from abroad is kept in a separate account and ledger, as FCRA requires.
  • No child's name, school or address appears on a public page.
  • When we get something wrong, we'll say so here.

Corrections

If we correct a published number, we record it here with the date and the reason.

Questions people ask

Is The Saath Foundation audited?

Yes. Our accounts are audited each year by Kapoor & Co., Chartered Accountants. The audited statements are on the annual reports page.

Why don't you show vendor names in public?

Vendor names could point to where a child lives or studies. So public pages show category totals, and signed-in donors see the vendors paid from their own gifts.

Seen enough? Stand with a child.
