Stories, told with care

What changed for a child, a family or a Saathi, told with their consent and, where we can, in their own words.

All stories

Stories are on their way. We only publish them once consent is in place.

Our storytelling promise

Read our child protection policy

  • Every story has the child's and guardian's consent.
  • We use a first name or chosen name, an age band and a district. Never a surname, school, street or village.
  • A child's real photo never appears here. Other photos appear only when consent covers that exact use. Otherwise we use illustrations, and label them.
  • Children are shown learning, making and leading. Never as objects of pity.

Are you a Saathi with a story?

Tell us what holding a hand has meant to you. We'll check with you before we publish anything, and we never include details about the child you support.
