Celebrate with Saath Foundation

Turn a birthday, a festival or a loved one's memory into real help for children across India. Your friends give to Saath Foundation, and you can all see what the money paid for.

In memory of someone

A quiet way to honour someone on their tithi, barsi or anniversary.

How it works

  1. Pick a date and a goal

Choose a program, or link your goal to one child's remaining needs. Your goal can't be more than what's still needed.

  2. Share your page

We write a WhatsApp message for you. Edit it, then send it to friends and family.

It's my birthday on 14 November! Instead of gifts, I'm raising ₹10,000 with The Saath Foundation for school books for children in India. Every rupee is tracked, and you get a receipt.

  3. See what it paid for

After your date, you get a certificate and a short note from our team about what your fundraiser funded.

How the money works

Every gift goes straight to The Saath Foundation. You never collect or handle money.

  • Each person who gives gets their own receipt. Indian taxpayers can get an 80G receipt (now Section 133, old tax regime only).
  • If your fundraiser raises more than the need you chose: The extra goes to the next child on Hold a Hand, the one who has been waiting longest for support. You'll see the transfer in your Rupee Trail.
  • You can't redirect money once it's given. Saath Foundation spends it on the need your page names.
  • Friends who are OCI, PIO or foreign citizens can give through our FCRA route from your page.

Keeping children safe

Fundraisers celebrate you and the need, never the child's story in detail. You won't be able to attend the meal day or ask for photos of children. Children never thank named donors on video. If you'd like to meet children, Meet Your Saathi and Saath Milan days are the way.

Questions about fundraisers

Does the money come to me?

No. All gifts go to The Saath Foundation, and each person gets their own receipt.

What if I don't reach my goal?

Every gift still counts. Saath Foundation spends it on the need your page names, and any gap stays open for others.

Can I end my fundraiser early?

Yes, from your account. Gifts already made stay with the need.

Will my friends get updates?

Only if they choose to when they give. You'll get a note about what your fundraiser funded.
